This is our go to restaurant for any family celebration or Sunday roast. You can guarantee a delicious meal every time you visit! The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to fit you in where possible. The Oliver twist has been our favorite place for 5 years now, and with living over an hour away doesn't put us off returning.

A happy and enjoyable stay. Room was spotlessy clean, bar was nice ditto dinner. I had a puncture on my car and they sent me to a local garage who sorted me out. It was a lovely stay and I'll go back, thank you.

Service was great but the food was awful! Sunday lunch and the roast potatoes and yorkshires tasted really old. Half a parsnip and a bit of stuffing the size of a stock cube. Meat was plentiful though.
This is a shame as we'd been here for Sunday lunch a while back and the food had been exceptional and tasted freshly prepared.
I note the many great reviews here... so maybe they were having a bad day?

We stayed over for 2 nights, had dinner, bed and breakfast. The dinner's were very tasty with large portions. Breakfasts were great and the room was just right for us. Everyone who works at the Oliver Twist were extremely friendly and helpful. A good weekend, will visit again

The service was professional and very friendly - couldn't fault it. Food was fantastic with a excellent choice. The inn has undergone an extensive refurbish since I last visited, which without being unkind was overdue. It now combines modern and traditional decor very well. Would recommend.

Well kept village pub and restaurant. Food is good quality with great choices all served to your table. Very good staff that are helpful, polite, and have a professional manner. The roast we had was delicious with generous portions. I would recommend based on my first impressions. Well done to the managers and staff.

We came for dinner. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The food was delicious (despite being a little expensive). They had a good highchair for my son and baby change facilities.

Came for a birthday meal last night with a family of twelve. Amazing service and food, easy booking, very friendly and inviting staff. All the food came out together, couldn’t fault a thing from starters, main and dessert.

Went there for my dads 83rd birthday and couldn’t fault them. Service was excellent put a birthday banner up and candle in the dessert went that extra mile. Food was fantastic as well especially the pie which was homemade and top notch. Thank you I would recommend to anyone who likes great food and amazing service 🥳

For someone with food allergies there is little on the menu, sadly i cant eat onion or gluten which counts out 97% of the menu and pretty much all deserts
